We Believe | Reach The Nations Kingdom College |
WE BELIEVE In the Scriptures Inspired, both Old and New Testaments, are verbally inspired by God and are the revelation of God to man, the infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct.
WE BELIEVE In One True God, Who is the eternally Self Existent and Self Revealed "I AM". He is the Creator of all things and the Redeemer of mankind. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Exodus 3:14; Jeremiah 10:10-12; Genesis 1:1; Isaiah 43:10-11)
WE BELIEVE In the Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the Eternal Son of God, conceived of the Holy Ghost, and born of a virgin, Mary. That He suffered, was crucified, buried and raised from the dead for our complete salvation. (Luke 1:35; John
WE BELIEVE Man was created good and upright without sin; for God said, "Let us make man in Our image, after our likeness." But man, by voluntary transgression against the commandment of God, fell, and his only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ the Son of God. (Genesis 1:26-31; 3:1-7; Romans 5:12-21)
WE BELIEVE In the Salvation of man. That all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and that repentance is commanded of God for all and necessary for forgiveness of sins. That justification, regeneration, and the new birth are wrought by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ. (Mark
WE BELIEVE In baptism in water by immersion as commanded in the scriptures for all who have repented of their sins and believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. This is a personal and public declaration to the world that they identify with Christ in His death and burial and have been raised up with Him in newness of life. (Matthew 28:19; Acts 10:47-48; Romans 6:4; Acts 20:21; Hebrews 10:22)
WE BELIEVE In Holiness to be the standard of living for the people of God. In Sanctification subsequent to the new birth, through faith in the Blood of Christ; through the Word and by the Holy Spirit. (Luke 1:75; 1 Thessalonians 4:7; Hebrews 12:14; Romans 5:2; 1 Corinthians 1:30)
WE BELIEVE In the Lord's Supper, consisting of the elements, the bread and the fruit of the vine, a memorial of His suffering and death, and a prophecy of His second coming, and is enjoined on all believers until He comes. (Luke 22:17-20; I Corinthians 11:23-26)
WE BELIEVE In the Church and Its
WE BELIEVE In A Divinely called and scripturally ordained ministry as established by the Lord Jesus Christ for a twofold purpose: The evangelization of the world, and the equipping of the Body of Christ for service. (Mark 16:15-20; Ephesians 4:11-13)
WE BELIEVE In Divine healing, and deliverance from oppression is provided for all in the atonement. (Psalms 103:3; Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 8:17; Acts 10:38; James 5:14-16; I Peter 2:24)
WE BELIEVE In the Return of Jesus Christ, the personal and imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ. First, to resurrect the righteous dead and to catch away the living saints to Him in the air. There will be a bodily resurrection of all the dead; of the believer to everlasting joy with the Lord, and of the unbeliever to judgment and eternal punishment. (I Corinthians 15:52; I Thessalonians 4:15-17; II Thessalonians 2:1; John 10:38; Acts 24:15; Revelations 20:5-15)
WE BELIEVE that in all matters concerning the Body of Christ, its direction, discipline, ministry and functioning that specific guidance and instruction, revelation and discernment of truth from falsehood, is available by the leading of the Holy Spirit who enables us to know spiritual things by the Spirit. (Acts 13:1-3; 1 Timothy 1:18, Romans 8:14; 1 Timothy 5:22; John 16:13-15; 1 Corinthians 5:3)
WE BELIEVE In Laying on of hands is a biblical practice. We believe in the Laying on of Hands for healing (Mark 5:22; Mark 4:41; Mark 5:28-34; Acts 28:8; Acts 19:11-12); Laying on of Hands to confer office (Acts 6:2-6); Laying on of Hands to receive the Holy Ghost (Acts 19:1-6); Laying on of Hands to believe words spoken, to receive anointing, and cultivate the anointing (I Timothy 4:14); Laying on of Hands for ordaining and sending forth ministries. (Acts 13:3)
WE BELIEVE God is continually revealing progressive truth and light to His Church. Therefore, we place no limit on further revelation; however, each must be substantiated according to the Scriptures contained in the Holy Bible.
