Two weeks ago, I came home from class and found my dad sitting up in a chair with a look of pain on his face. I asked him what was wrong and he said he had a shooting pain going from the top of his abdomen down to his groin. He felt great pressure pressing up against his side as well and he could not sleep because of it.
I fell asleep and had a dream in which I was filled with a holy anger and I told him that the sickness had to go. I spoke healing to him and he had a look of shock as I had raised my voice and said what I had said to him (as he has never received or even seen divine healing). The next day, I said exactly what I had said to him in the dream. He was showing signs of recovery for about a day and then he became even more ill. He was worried that it may have been pneumonia which he had years ago (he was ill for roughly two months when he had contracted it). I waited a few days and I was challenged by a brother to pray again and this time to lay hands on him (Mark 16:18). I prayed once again, laid hands and commanded his body to be healed. There was no immediate sign of recovery but I know our God is Healer and that He would reveal Himself as Healer to my dad. I heard a couple of hours after "He will be restored tomorrow."
Sure enough, the next morning, my dad was restored! He woke me up early Sunday morning and said, "I feel good! You feel good! We are all good!" Hallelujah! Ever since that day, my dad has had more energy than I had ever seen. He is in good health and I thank the Lord for healing him.
I noticed about 1-2 months ago that there was a slight pain in my right heel. I was not sure of what had caused it (excessive walking, weight-lifting, a bad step, et cetera). I did not give it much thought because it was more of a discomfort than anything else.
A group of students went to a service yesterday and Apostle Richard had given a word about healings taking place throughout the congregation. With one sound, we were all giving God praise and thanksgiving for what He was doing among us. Before I even realized it, the Lord had healed my foot. The pain was completely gone! I stomped the ground to see if there was any tenderness and nothing. I took my shoe off and tried to find a sore spot on my heel and there was no pain! Alleluia! The Lord is Healer!
Glory to God!! A sister from church told me her son is getting a new car and if I wanted I can have his old car.. She said it has some things that need fixing and needs to be cleaned.. I said does it turn on? And drive? She laughed but wanted to bless me.. And I of course said yes! And thanked God.. I heard Him tell me, "I'm helping you". It's such a comfort and relief to know that God is helping me.. It reminds me of the verse in the book of Philippians (2:13) which reveals that it is God that puts in us the desire and ability to do what pleases Him..the Amplified version reads:
“[Not in your own strength] for it is God Who is all the while effectually at work in you [energizing and creating in you the power and desire], both to will and to work for His good pleasure and satisfaction and delight.”
This is not for me only, He is saying to His all His people that He Is helping us! Help is here and still is coming! Hallelujah! Glory to God who guarantees our success and victory! Blessed Be His name!
This week was the week of vacation bible school for the children at my church that both Josue and I attend. We taught a class called Bible Quest which is based on bringing the bible stories to life by creating the story with props and a bit of acting, and other hands on lessons. This class is made so that the children get to experience those important moments and that it would help give a visual and feel and understanding in a different way. One particular class we taught on the God's Power, the Holy Spirit, and the trinity, teaching that God has the power to heal the sick and how God can do it through them. How God speaks to us in different ways such as our hearts, our ears, how there's power in our words, and how He uses people. As we ended the class explaining power and how the Holy Spirit is power, and how we carry power through the Holy Ghost, we then ended off with a prayer that they too would be used and help others through the power of the Holy Spirit. As we dismissed the class there was a little girl who stood in corner and drawing near to me, and as she did I asked her if she was okay, she then told me with such excitement and awe, that the exact thing that we had taught happened to her and that's how she was able to come to VBS (vacation bible school). She went on and said, that a as she was playing outside or outside with her family, a man came up to them and had told them about vbs and invited them to come, and then her parents okayed it, she then told me that man was the Pastor. This may not sound so amazing, but it truly is, this little girl got revelation and light by understanding that this man was being led by the Holy Spirit to invite her and her siblings, and although he was a pastor, she then saw past that and realized that God was using him because He(meaning God)wanted her there! He wanted her to learn more about him! and she was so excited and couldn't believe that the Lord spoke to her through this man, I then got excited and had the entire class back in so that she would share her testimony, she was a bit nervous and took one deep breathe and shared it just as she told me, with excitement and light, this was a revelation for her, her first encounter with God wanting to draw her close, her first testimony was shared in a class that brought light on how and why she ended up where she was, and that my brothers and sisters is a wonderful thing! her life will never be the same, for she knows that the God she serves, that the God we serve is real!
Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it. (Proverbs 22:6) NKJV
Just this past week a man was hit by a car late at night while he was walking to his home.. The driver of the car fled the scene.. The man had been pronounced deceased but was revived about 3 times or so.. They brought him to the nearest hospital stabilized him and then flew him by helicopter to Yale new haven Hospital for a series of serious surgeries. This man is my uncle.. Prayer was made for him everyday.. A lot of people.. Friends and family and churches and even RTNKC.. And people that he didn't know or that didn't know him were praying.. There was a serious surgery he had to undergo in which was a risk that he would either be paralyzed from his neck down or die.. We know that the doctors would do what they could but we also know that there is nothing too difficult for our God who created the heavens and the earth! Prayer is powerful!!! The surgery was a success!! And Yesterday he was speaking to everyone and recognized everyone.. He didn't know what happened and wanted to go home.. But they had to tell him he was in the hospital and has another surgery next week and then maybe he will be able to go home! You see how great our God is!!!
"God [is] our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." (Psalm 46:1)
Never stop praying.. Don't give up! Don't give in! The effective fervent prayers of the righteous avail much! God hears his people! Whatever your prayer is Know that Our God answers prayers! He is not a man that He should lie.. If He promised something he will surely do it! Never stop believing, trust in the Lord! He is our ever present help in time of need! Hallelujah! He is Good! And His mercy endures forever!!! Blessed be His name!!
Glory be to God, for He is Healer!
Earlier today there was an incident that occurred concerning my right eye. Inflammation and infection occurred after just itching it a few times, I then felt my eye swell up and my face surrounding the eye felt very weird and out of the norm. I then looked in the mirror and saw that my eye was blood shot red, and there was a yellow bubble sack that just kept growing. I then sent a max group text to my fellow RTNKC students and instructors so they can pray for me. In the following time I didn't know what to do and I instantly thought OPEN YOUR MOUTH TANYA! And I soon began to praise God. I then started to feel a bit of fear and started to rebuke it and stood on that till the spirit of fear went away. I then declared the promises of God and who He is and then put on Tasha Cobbs "break every chain," You got to do whatever it takes and what you know to help set the atmosphere! I then started to praise, pray, and warfare in tongues! I will not fear for the Lord is with me, for me, and not against me! Whom shall I fear when He is in me and all around me! His Might and Power is above all! Who can defeat the enemy better than my God?! My God who heals, delivers and sets free! My God who created all things! The creator of our universe! King of Kings and Lord of Lords, the great I AM! In His presence alone there is restoration and Power! By just one touch you receive the fullness of Him! Ask and you shall receive! Seek and you will find! How can He not touch me and heal me! I belong to Him! My body is His! My life is His! I said to the Lord I am in expectancy of your healing power and touch! Because you said those who seek You will find You! I serve You and I belong to You! I am in expectancy of the fullness! Because You are Good, merciful and loving, You are not a liar! Your my God whom I serve and Love, You are Healer!
It is awesome to know that I didn’t have to fight alone, That I not only have God but I have my fellow classmates pray and fight the good fight with me, fellowship is so important and I am thankful for my classmates and instructors who prayed for me and with me.
I am Healed! Thank You Lord! Hallelujah!
There has been opportunity of fellowship that has occurred in the past few weeks with fellow classmates and I have to say I’ve gotten to know more about. We have gotten to come together and just talk as friends or even helping each other out by encouraging one another, comforting with words, or with just giving them company or just an ear to listen.
The more that we fellowshipped the more better our coming together for 1hr of prayer became, the more comfortable we became with talking to one another about things, and the more motivated, excited and driven we became. Fellowshipping is so important; I’ve realized that if it wasn’t for a carless situation a lot of things probably most likely wouldn’t have happened. It’s so easy to allow situations to frustrate us, Its little simple things like not having a vehicle to get to and from that can be just as annoying as a paper cut, its small but for some reason hurts the most because it keeps hurting, and the cut constantly reminds you that it’s there, but are you dying? No. Do you stop working and using your hands because of it? Absolutely not! You keep going and you keep pushing, trusting God and seeing the good in it, because God can truly turn things around, you just have to have your eyes open to see it.
In this situation God has expanded friendship and fellowship, especially with a person who has been visiting, wanting to know more about God and wanting their journey and life to grow with God more than ever. It was amazing how by just being a friend to someone, by just having a heart to reach out and hear someone out, by encouraging someone in their growth and new life journey with God, by taking a day and hanging out and sharing experiences of what God has done and is doing in my life, and expressing how it’s not only for a selective few to experience but freely given for all to experience. I was reminded of who I am in this time, of what fire I have for God and how I want people to be saved and how I want them to experience His great love, comfort, peace, joy and strength. And yes it’s not easy, but it’s so worth it! God showed me how important fellowshipping is and because of it how it helped build someone up along with help from a fellow classmate to help this one person build their confidence and boldness in Him, and now they are more driven and pushing for greatness in Him Spiritually, and personally as far a lifestyle. I thank The Lord for opening my eyes to all the good in tough situations and how much of Him is in everything! It's simply how you allow yourself to continue viewing it.
Do you Love God? If your answer is yes, then I have good news for you. Romans 8:28 says "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to [his] purpose."
Is there some-thing that you're are going through or facing in your life right now? I'm telling you that it's working for good! Anything that works gets paid. Every "thing" enters into a contract. For example a seed enters into a contract with the soil. The "Thing" you are going through has two options: it enters into a contract with either your past or your future depending on what you say! Speak in the direction that you want to go!
About a month ago my car broke down. I had to change my thinking concerning this "thing". Do you know that there are people I would have never met or talked to if I was still driving. A conversation is the marketplace where words are exchanged and futures are determined! So in my situation I realized I've reached people I would have never reached. And the time for a new car is near but I'm telling you There is a working together of "things" for good!
The wisest man that ever lived said these three things:
1. "To every [thing there is] a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven"
2."He hath made every thing beautiful in his time" (When you speak His word you're speaking in His time .. The place where everything is made beautiful!)
3."There is a time there for every purpose and for every work"
(Ecclesiastes 3)
Speak to that thing whatever it is and say it's time!
The Holy Ghost revealed this to me as I was ministering to someone and he made me understand more clearly that If you're facing a cycle that keeps happening in your life then it's time for breakthrough! Your life has a purpose! God has a plan for you.. And because you love Him all things are working together in your favor!
For a few weeks now, we have been praying as a class for the healing of my daughter Averie's ears. She came home with a report from school a little while ago that her right ear had failed a hearing test. I immediately told the other students about this in the group text, and we began to pray. We proclaimed that her ears were open, and that she could hear. We prayed for the Lord to fully heal her ears, and sent our prayers daily in the group text. We bound the devil in Jesus name over this situation, and gave it to God. Apostle Richard gave a word that there had been damage to an auditory nerve, possibly from a bad ear infection. We then began to pray for the healing of her ears and the nerves. After Averie went for another hearing test, we got a report that both of her ears were now failing. We held our ground, and stood in prayer. We put our faith in the Lord that he had heard our prayers, and did not let this doctors report shake us. This week, we went to a specialist for yet one more hearing test, and the report was that both of her ears passed the test, and that she could hear perfectly. Victory!! We thank Jesus for the healing of Averie's ears. The doctors have no explanation for why her ears failed the test, and then two weeks later passed. We have an explanation though! She has been healed by the miraculous power of Jesus Christ, through prayer. We give all glory, honor, and praise to God for this testimony.
On Tuesday morning at work, I began to seek the Lord as I did not want to spend the whole day living for myself but to bring heaven to a person. I saw my co worker and I heard the Lord say, " tonight she will be able to sleep in peace." I gave the Word to my co worker and she shared that her daughter has left the house out of anger and had not heard of her in two days. An hour later my coworker gets a call letting her know her daughter is okay and she is in good hands. Hallelujah!!
"And they overcame him by the Blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony..." Revelation 12:11
