There's nothing like the unadulterated gospel of Jesus Christ! It is "the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth" (Romans 1:16) This message sets you up for kingdom authority to bring the light of the kingdom of God, push back darkness and undo the works of the devil! The gospel or good news of Jesus gets people saved (John 3:16 KJV - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.) This believing is more than just a prayer of faith and a repetition of words that may not completely make sense unless explained. It is a conscious knowing and understanding of what God really did for us which causes us to recognize we are lost without Him and to also recognize our need to repent wholeheartedly and choose His way of living which is so much better. And then there's more good news… The gospel of the kingdom which reveals our rights and privileges after salvation (This most certainly deals with the Holy Spirit).. It's working time! Now faith is not by works but by grace. But James lets us know that faith without works is dead! Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God. The gospel then opens eyes and causes faith to rise! And we know that without faith it is impossible to please God for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. (Hebrews 11) We were saved for a purpose! God has a will and a plan and He chose you and I to be a part of it! God desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. The message of the truth is the message of Jesus who is the way the truth and the life. The Gospel brings understanding! We then submit to our God because we understand his authority. The authority that is delegated by Him to us then enables us to deal with the devil and his cohorts. By The understanding of His authority we are given the name above every name, the name of Jesus which never fails! There's no authority higher than the name of Jesus. This Gospel has power! Oh how we need power! There is power in understanding the Gospel! If everything that we say and do is founded on the gospel of Jesus Christ and the gospel of the kingdom, which is a sure foundation, we will live a lifestyle of power which makes all the difference.. Our message is not aimed at people's emotions which may make them feel good but this gospel digs down deep beyond the soul right to the spirit ! This Gospel changes lives, breaks demonic cycles, tears down religious walls that hinder the move of the Holy Ghost… This gospel works!
